Happy Chinese New Year!

Happy Chinese New Year!

It’s time, the Chinese New Year, or Spring Festival, is celebrated in China and many parts of Asia. When the new year begins is marked by the change of the lunar year and is based on the first new moon between January 21 and February 21.

Thus, the festival falls on a different date each time: this year it begins on January 22 and ends on February 07 with the Lantern Festival. 2023 is under the sign of the Water Rabbit. In total, there are twelve zodiacs (rat, buffalo, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, pig) and these are additionally associated with five elements (metal, wood, water, fire and earth).

People born in the Year of the Rabbit, according to popular belief, have self-confidence, determination and are loving and social. Horoscopes predict that the Year of the Rabbit 2023 will be a quiet year, the perfect time for family, friendship and romance. The connection to water also promises prosperity and stability.

On Chinese New Year, people spend relaxing time with family after a year of hard work. Like us, people wish each other success and happiness in the coming year, but also prosperity and good business.

I wish everyone who celebrates the Chinese New Year a wonderful celebration and much joy in the new year of the Water Bunny!
