The smell of pine boughs fills the air,
Pretty silver bells tinkle everywhere.
Sparkling snow covers the ground,
Christmas spirit is all around. ✨

…with these words I look back on the year 2022 and look forward to the coming Christmas season.
This year, with its ups and downs, held a lot for me, and I would like to thank you for the beautiful events and great cooperation with new, as well as old familiar faces. All the exciting exchanges, the many projects and the growth in knowledge and experience have enriched me greatly.
What have I learned this year?
- My major knee surgery and the still ongoing rehab have definitely taught me to slow down.
- To plan and at the same time live very flexibly in the moment. As I tend to be more of a head person, following my intuition and sense of the situation more.
- French skills. Every day since the pandemic began. This year I was finally able to have real conversations.
This Christmas I decided to give a slightly different kind of gift: giving is known to be more blessed than receiving, so I donated to Umhambi Children’s Foundation of Hope e.V. for each of my customers and business partners. 🎁 Five of us founded this association in 2020 to support the project of a good friend in Africa.
The Umhambi Orphan Project from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe works for orphans in the region to offer them a perspective by providing basic care and schooling for the children. Our association supports the Umhambi Project in the areas of education and training, medical and emotional help, equality as well as nutrition and self-help.
Of course, I would be very happy if more people would like to donate something. More information about the project can be found here: http://www.umhambi.net.
I am looking forward to the next year and the many new challenges and exciting projects.
I wish you a Merry Christmas, where the cell phone stays off and you can enjoy the time with your loved ones.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎆
