LATERAL LEADERSHIP: ENERGETIC TRAINING IN SWITZERLAND

I just got back from Switzerland where I delivered a training on Lateral Leadership for the experts of a long-established global company in the surveying industry. Lateral Leadership means leading without having disciplinary power given by the traditional line organization. In the age of Digital Transformation and Digital Leadership, this kind of leadership is gaining more and more importance because models of leading and collaboration are strongly based on principles like participation, openness, networking and agility. In the training, we worked out success factors, exchanged experience, practised effective tools and made sure that the participants could transfer everything they have learned into their daily work. The group was really wonderful and I’m very thankful for two energetic and productive days!
